Excerpt

The commons was designed as a place for officers and elites to enjoy simple recreation and eat without cause for ridiculous ceremonies, such as saluting and acknowledging every single rank beneath them. It was also open all hours of the day to accommodate the various schedules, whereas the mess hall operated during normal meal times only. As I entered, I found it packed with all ranks, eyes glued to the TV lowered from the ceiling in the center of the room. The volume was so high it echoed through the halls. Eventhe shower room on the basement level picked up a low murmured hum just above the buzz of lights when I went to clean up after another workout.

It appeared the news stations had somehow caught wind of the mysterious happenings there. Strange lights, voices, people in dark vehicles coming and going at all hours of the day and night. That wasn’t news to me, and I didn’t want anything else to do with the place. Rarely did the media tell the truth on what really happens. It was better I ignored the report altogether.

I squeezed and pushed my way to the fridge to pull out a pimento sandwich and bottle of water then managed to wiggle my way to the cabinet on the far end for a small bag of chips. Deciding it would be better to eat in my room, I made my way to the door. Right as I reached it, I realized the room fell silent. Looking up, I met the eyes of every soul in the crowded room. They seemed to wait for my reaction.

Then my eyes lifted to the TV, narrowing in on a set of orbs that were like empty black pits with a sprinkling of brown. The single dimple on his cheek remained put as he flashed his arrogant smile to all the cameras surrounding him. My lungs constricted, expelling what seemed like the last of the air left in the room. A black rim dotted my vision and a strange swishing in my ears overwhelmed every other sound. Something crashed to the floor with a loud clatter that echoed too much. My vision faded, and my legs gave out from under me.

SCREWED by Kendall Ryan Chapter Reveal

We are very excited for this brand new standalone from Kendall Ryan.
Releasing on September 15 we get a peek at a sexy romantic comedy from the NYT Bestselling author

I have one rule: Don’t shit where you eat.

Several of the women in the condo complex I own would love some one-on-one playtime, and why wouldn’t they? I’m young, fit, attractive, and loaded. Not to mention I’m packing a sizable bulge below the belt. It’s a combination that drops panties on a regular basis.

Yay, me, right?

But my cock, troublemaker that he is, has been confined to my trousers by my business partner. A concession I agreed to, and one that’s never been hard to enforce until Emery moves in across the hall. She’s smart, young, determined, and sexy as hell. I want a taste. I won’t stop until I’m buried deep inside the succulent new-in-town brunette.

After being warned about my past, she does her best to steer clear, but I’m about to show her that underneath it all, I’m a guy with a heart of gold and a cock of steel.

My name is Hayden Oliver, and this is my story.

SCREWED is standalone romantic comedy by New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author Kendall Ryan.

Chapter One

Hayden

Goddamn. This is going to be harder than I thought.

My eyes swing over to admire the most perfect pear-shaped ass I’ve ever had the pleasure of laying eyes on while my business partner Hudson continues lecturing me. I think it’s something important, but there’s nothing more urgent than my body’s reaction to this shapely brunette. Jesus. Those tits are definitely real.

“I mean it. Your cock is cut off this time,” Hudson says roughly, his tone biting.

Tearing my gaze away from the succulent new brunette moving into unit 4B, I face him. “Not literally cut off. I’m sort of attached to him. Yourealize that, right?”

“Well it’s on lock down then. No more of this bullshit. I had three calls this week alone from hysterical women – our tenants – who you, how do I put this delicately? You fucked and then left before their pussies were even dry.”

I smirk at him, but I can’t deny the accusation. We’re like the real life Melrose Place. Sexy young twenty-somethings all living in close proximity. There’s bound to be a little drama now and again. Together, Hudson and I own thirty buildings in the greater Los Angeles area. And some of our buildings have very fuckable tenants. Up until this point, I’d considered that a nice bonus, and a perk of the job. Hudson has apparently viewed it differently.

“Who’s that?” I ask, tipping my head toward the bombshell who’s responsible for all the blood rushing to my groin. Fuck. I should have a word with her about that, that’s not cool.

Hudson’s eyes swing to the left to see what, or rather, who has captured my attention. And who’s given me this semi-chub, which I hope he hasn’t noticed. We’re close, but we’re not that close.

“No, no, no. Don’t get any ideas. You’re not tagging that.”

She’s not close enough to overhear us, but I shoot him a scowl anyway. “Show some class, man. Tagging is such a juvenile word. I’d take my time, get her hot and ready first, until she was begging for me to fill her tight, little cunt.”

“I’m fucking serious. You’re not to even think about her tight cunt.”

“So you acknowledge she’s got a tight cunt?” I smile, proud of myself.

He wipes sweat from his brow, looking worried. “Hayden, I’m serious this time.” His voice has taken on a somber tone, and for once, I try to be serious and focus.

Watching the way the vein throbs in his neck, my smile fades. We’re standing outside of one of our nicest buildings just outside of downtown, and the mid-afternoon sun is beating down on us. Suddenly I want to get away from him, and away from this entire conversation and into the cool air conditioning inside. Shit has gotten a little too real for me.

“You know me,” I grin at him, trying to lighten the mood. “I just wanted to have some casual fun.” And if that meant sleeping my way through the LA singles scene, so be it. I’m not looking for something deeper. I have a luxury condo in the heart of the Hollywood Hills, drive a new model BMW and possess a nine-inch cock. Translation: Life is good. Or it was, until Hudson decided to get a bug up his ass and lay down the law today.

“Did you hear a word I just said? One of your latest conquests threatened to report our company to the Better Business Bureau for unethical business practices. This isn’t just about you. This affects me too. And I’ll be damned if I watch everything we’ve built go down in flames because you can’t keep your dick in your pants.”

“Point taken.” Hudson is pretty much the best friend, and best business partner you could ask for. He’s smart as hell, dedicated, works like a dog day and night. And not to mention when we began our real estate investment company five years ago, he single-handedly fronted all the start-up capital from his own savings and trust fund. It took me years to pay him back as the profits rolled in, and he never once made me feel lesser, or like I was in debt to him. Not to mention, he’s funny, well-off, and good looking. He’s an excellent wing-man. Plus he knows the best taco joints.

Unable to help myself, my eyes drift over to her again. 4B fills out a pair of yoga pants in ways that I doubt are even legal in most countries. I needed to know what was underneath those curve-hugging black athletic pants. Simple cotton panties, or a naughty g-string? Either way, I wanted to bury my fingers inside the waistband of those pants, peel them down her hips and find out. Perhaps it was because Hudson just made her forbidden fruit, but I wanted a taste. My damn mouth was practically watering.

She looked smart, and put together, despite her casual attire, including a tank top and tennis shoes. With a clipboard in one hand, and her trusty number two pencil in the other, she ticked items off of her list, and instructed the movers who were unloading and carrying boxes up to her new place – which just so happened to be directly underneath mine.

“You’re not going to last three minutes let alone three days.” Hudson grimaces, glancing over again at our newest resident.

“What do you know about her?”

He rolls his eyes, but humors me. “Emery Elaine Winters. She’s an attorney. Excellent references. Even better credit score, and she signed a one year lease. And she’s to remain in pristine condition, or so help me God …”

When I glance up at her again, I see Roxy, another of our residents has joined Emery on the sidewalk, and they appear to be making small talk. Shaking hands, exchanging words, and smiling at each other. There’s something I strongly dislike about these two women talking. Roxy is an exotic dancer, and she I have a bit of a rocky past. Which is a huge fucking understatement, but not something I care to dwell on now. Hudson mentions something about fourth quarter taxes, and I tune him out, sure I just heard my name on Roxy’s over-glossed lips.

“Excuse me, I’ve got business to attend to.” I step around him, heading straight toward my new prize. Roxy spots me, and takes off for the parking area.

“Where do you think you’re going?” Hudson calls after me.

“Just being neighborly. Someone’s got to properly welcome Miss
Winters.”

“Dammit, Hayden,” I hear him shout.

“I’ve got this, buddy,” I shout back over my shoulder.

I can control myself around her. I have to, according to Hudson. I don’t like being told what to do, especially where my cock was concerned, and hell, it’ll probably only make me want her more, but as I close the distance between Emery and me, I make a plan.

Friends.

I would become friends with theso-hot-I-wanted-to-bend-her-over-and-fuck-her-in-broad-daylight new girl.

This was either the best plan I’d ever had, or would end with me
sporting a black eye, courtesy of my best friend.

It’s go time.

Doppelgangers and the mythology of spirit doubles

The mythology of spirit doubles can be traced back thousands of years and was present in many cultures of the past, holding a prominent place in ancient legends, stories, artworks, and in books by various authors. Perhaps the most well-known reference to spirit doubles or ‘alter egos’ is the doppelgänger, a word still used today to refer to a person that is physically or behaviourally similar to another person.

Doppelgänger is a German word many “double goer” and refers to a wraith or apparition that cast no shadows and is a replica or double of a living person. They were generally considered as omens of bad luck or even signs of impending death – a doppelgänger seen by a person's relative or friend was said to signify that illness or danger would befall that person, while seeing one's own doppelgänger was said to be an omen of death.

Some accounts of doppelgängers, sometimes called the ‘evil twin’ suggests that they might attempt to provide advice to the person they shadow, but that this advice can be misleading or malicious. They may also attempt to plant sinister ideas in their victim’s mind or cause them great confusion. For this reason, people were advised to avoid communicating with their own doppelgänger at all costs.

One of the most famous depictions of doppelgängers comes from the 1851 sketch and 1864 watercolour called ‘How They Met Themselves’ by Dante Gabriel Rossetti. According to interpretation, two medieval lovers are walking through the woods at twilight when they encounter their doubles who glow supernaturally. The man draws his sword in astonishment, while his lover appears to collapse in a deathly swoon. Doppelganger imagery occurred in poems Rossetti admired such as Elizabeth Barrett Browning's The Romaunt of Margaret and Poe's Silence.

While Doppelgänger cases are said to be works of fiction, there are a number of real-life cases in which individuals claim to have met their sinister duo. Among the most noteworthy is Abraham Lincoln’s experience, as chronicled by Noah Brooks in his book Washington in Lincoln’s Time (1895). According to his account, soon after Lincoln was elected in 1860, he arrived home one day and looked into the bureau mirror where he saw himself reflected in double. Lincoln said, "...nearly at full length; but my face had two separate and distinct images." Lincoln noticed that although the images were nearly identical, one was "a little paler—say five shades—than the other". His wife was said to be very worried and told Lincoln she believed that the paleness of half the dual image was a bad omen, which meant that Lincoln would serve his first full term, but would not live to finish his second.

The subject of the double has a long history, particularly in literature. In Greek mythology Narcissus falls in love with his reflection, and in Gothic tales such as Edgar Allan Poe’s William Wilson (1839), James Hogg’s Private Memoirs and Confessions of a Justified Sinner (1824), Elizabeth Gaskell’s The Poor Clare (1856) and even Hans Christian Andersen’s lesser-read fairy-tale The Shadow, characters are haunted and followed by their often malevolent likenesses. However, the mythology of spirit doubles have far more ancient origins.

One of the earliest references may be in the Zurvanite branch of Zoroastrianism. This sect distilled the general abstract duality of Zoroastrianism into a concept of manifest twins "born" of a monist "Time." In this cosmological model, the twins Ahura Mazda (Ormuzd) and Angra Mainyu (Ahriman) were co-eternal representatives of good and evil.

In Ancient Egyptian mythology, a ‘ka’ was a tangible "spirit double" having the same memories and feelings as the person to whom the counterpart belongs. In one Egyptian myth entitled, The Greek Princess, an Egyptian view of the Trojan War, a ka of Helen was used to mislead Paris of Troy, helping to stop the war.

Norse folklore describes entities known as vardøger, ghostly beings that preceded their living counterparts, taking their places at various activities and performing their actions in advance. The spirit with the subject's footsteps, voice, scent, or appearance and overall demeanour precedes them in a location or activity, resulting in witnesses believing they've seen or heard the actual person before the person physically arrives. This bears a subtle difference from a doppelgänger, with a less sinister connotation.

People from the Orkney Islands in Scotland feared small, fairy-like creatures called "trows". According to legend, trows would give birth to children who were apt to be sickly. Pregnant women were carefully guarded from the trows who would often steal healthy human babies and replace them with their own children, known as ‘changelings’, who would transform into exact replicas of the stolen children.

Many Native American creation myths likewise provide for the role of dualistic twins. Hopi legends refer to the twins who were called the Child of the Sun and the Child of the Water. The Hopi also believe in duality between the Upper World and the Underworld: that whatever is happening here in the Upper World, the opposite is happening in the Underworld.

So where did belief in spirit doubles come from and is there any real truth to them? While many today still belief in the existence of a double self, some scientists believe the phenomenon occurs based on injuries or stimulation to certain parts of the brain which cause errors in spatial reasoning. Others believe it is the result of a vision, hallucination, or that we live in a parallel universe in which everything in this world in replicated in another dimension. Whatever the real truth behind doppelgangers, belief in the spirit double has instilled both fear and wonder in people for thousands of years.

Anyhoo… humor. I love books that give me the feelzz. And I love to laugh and cry within the same book. I’m hoping I do that for you guys with Baby’s Got Bite. Today, I was trying to think back on some books that made me laugh out loud. Do you remember that first Stephanie Plum book by Janet Evanovich where Grandma Mazur shot a hole in the chicken dinner? I laughed for two days over that scene. It still makes me smile. And those early Betsy books by Mary Janice Davidson had me rolling. I remember being on a plane and laughing so hard at the second Betsy book, I think it was Undead and Unemployed, that the flight attendant thought I was having some kind of fit.
If I can make you smile or cry, while reading one of my books, I feel like I’ve done my job. And if I can lighten your day, even for a little bit, that makes me happy. I’d love to hear from you. Do you have a book that gave you big time FEELZZZ or made you laugh? Tell me, I really want to know!

They now call me a Leviathan. A monster.
And maybe I am.

I know one soul who believes that with every part of his being.

If only he knew the truth.

If only I could make him see that I’m more than the surface of lies I spin. That I’m more than someone out for their own gain. I wish he could see—know who I was before all of this. The person I desperately cling on to that is still inside of me. The person I must protect.

One day I hope to hand him the key to the fortress that is my heart.

I just hope he doesn’t give up on Love and throw it all away…

I hate Love.

I’m looking at her.

There’s an innocence to her that she keeps carefully hidden.

But I see it.

Inside of her is someone that she has revealed to no one.

Not even me when I once thought we were in love.

Of course now I know that was all a farce but still, she hid that even from me.

But not now—now, I see more.

Vandal, book 2 in ASHES AND EMBERS

Storm, book 1 in ASHES AND EMBERS

Exclusive Excerpt:

He leans his head down closer to mine. “You looking at me like that, and saying my name like that, just makes me want to kiss you even more.”

I swallow hard, unable to tear my eyes away from his. “You really shouldn’t be saying things like that,” I breathe, my voice quivering. He’s got my nerves in overdrive. Hell, who am I kidding? He’s got my entire mind and body in overdrive right now.

He moves his hand to cup the side of my face. “Close your eyes, Ivy. Let’s make our wishes at the same time.”

Lukas is a wizard, and I’ve quickly fallen under his spell. My eyes flutter closed, and his lips touch mine, so softly that we are barely touching at all, but it’s enough to make me see even more shooting stars, this time behind closed eyes, in that place where magic happens. His kiss is completely unexpected but way too perfect to break away from. I drop my bag to the ground and bring my hands up to rest on his shoulders. He kisses me a little harder, his tongue gently touching my lips, silently asking permission for more. Parting my lips, I let him kiss me deeper, his tongue slowly meeting mine, caressing in enticing circles. The feel of his tongue piercing and lip ring is so strange to me, yet incredibly erotic. I think I like it. His hand goes to my hip, pulling my body possessively but gently against him, as his kisses grow more passionate and urgent. My legs begin to shake with timid desire, my hands squeezing his muscled shoulders, hanging on to him in this sudden dizzying realm he’s led me into. Did a first kiss ever feel like this before? Has any kiss ever felt like this before? No. Not for me. Not ever.

He oozes skilled sensuality; every touch, every breath, every kiss is measured in perfect timing and depth. This is not an awkward, clumsy, rushed and horny boy touching me for kicks. Not by a long shot. He’s savoring everything. And I don’t want him to stop.

Grasping my waist with both hands, he effortlessly lifts me up onto the hood of my car, bringing me closer to eye level with him. He moves between my parted legs, guides my thighs around his jean-clad hips, and covers my mouth with his again, kissing me long, deep, and tantalizingly slow as he gently holds my face in his hands. It’s the kind of kiss that brands complete want and ownership. He leaves no doubt that he wants me. The logical part of me is telling me to stop him, but the lonely, aching part of me takes over, and I slide my hands up his chest and over his shoulders to clasp behind his neck. My fingers tangle in his long silky hair, and I love how new and different it feels. Everything about him is so different, like tasting an exotic food for the first time that quickly leads to crazy indulgence. That magnetic pull I felt the first time I laid eyes on him is a force to be reckoned with right now. It’s controlling me, taking over every part of me, squashing my fears and reservations, and paving a very clear path that leads directly to this man. I cannot even begin to understand or make the tiniest bit of sense of this attraction. But it’s there, and it’s stronger than anything I’ve ever felt in my life.

Suddenly, he stops kissing me, his lips just a whisper away from mine, and stares into my eyes for a few moments, before letting his dark eyes slowly close as he pulls me closer against his body, his hard cock pressing against me through our clothes, sending a hot surge of raw desire through me.

What I glimpsed in his eyes shook me even more than his kiss.

All feelings that carry the ability to give immense pleasure and pain. Neither of which I am ready for.

I slowly try to pull myself away from him, but he holds me close against him.

“Wow,” I say breathlessly, leaning my head against his shoulder.

“Come upstairs with me, and let’s see if we can upgrade that to a holy shit,” he whispers, his hand resting on the back of my neck, gently squeezing.

Author Harper Kincaid Interview and $30.00 Amazon Gift Card Contest

Author Harper Kincaid Interview
Bind Me Before You Go (Entangled Brazen) (Serve) by Harper KincaidBBB: What’s your favorite type of party? HK: Small dinner parties of around eight to ten people. Big crowds overwhelm me, so these are perfect – especially if someone else is cooking!

BBB: What’s your funniest memory as an author?
HK: When I told my mother-in-law about my books, thinking she’d be shocked when I explained they’re ‘really kinda dirty’ and her eyes got all glittery and she responded, ‘Good! I’m counting on it!” She’s a trip!
BBB: We all need a hero! Tell us about your protagonist(s)? Was there a real-life inspiration behind him or her?
HK: Gosh, if I knew a Davill Cavill in real life I’d be in bed all day with him and not writing about it! No, his character is totally imaginary, but I did model his physical appearance as a cross between Henry Cavill and David Giuntoli from Grimm – hence the name, David Cavill.
BBB: Please tell us more about Bind Me Before You Go and the storyline that drives it. (Don’t use the book synopsis, please write this in your own words.)
HK: Bind Me Before You Go is really about two people trying to escape where they came from and trying to find out who they’re going to be – and they use sex and rope bondage as a vehicle to get there. This is not a typical BDSM story. It’s not about the rope. It’s about Cassidy learning to stop pleasing others and find what drives her as a woman – both sexually and emotionally. And for David it’s about actually learning to let go of his preconceived notions about himself and where he comes from in order to find some happiness.
BBB: How many more books will there be in the Serve series?
HK: Great question! I don’t think there’s any end in sight as of now, as long as readers are interested in the characters we are all creating.
BBB: What sets Serve series apart from other books in the same genre?
HK: So much! First of all, we have a bevy of authors who contribute to this series – not just one or two. Also, many of the stories we explore aren’t just copycat 50 Shade stories. They are as varied and multidimensional as the authors themselves.
BBB: What types of characters can readers expect in your world?
HK: While the men are certainly strong, they aren’t the typical doms. Also, my heroines are sassy chicks. They aren’t some doe-eyed ingenues blankly looking to some guy to tell them what sex is all about.
BBB: While you were writing, did you ever feel as if you were one of the characters?
HK: Oh sure! There’s a LOT of me in Cassidy.
BBB: What was the hardest part of writing Bind Me Before You Go?
HK: Trying to determine which kink I was going to write about when I wasn’t part of this world. I did a lot of research though…my internet browser history would shock the neighbors!
BBB: If you were a color what color would you be and why?
HK: LOL – Variations between red and hot pink. The answer should be obvious, but just to make sure…yes, I’m passionate and playful, intense and dramatic. Sometimes.
BBB: What’s coming up for you for the rest of 2015?
HK: I’m in the midst of reworking the next book for me in the Serve series, called CLAIM ME BEFORE I BREAK and the last book in my Break on Through series with Samhain called GIRL BREAKER. I’m so excited for both of them!

Hmm…I’m a kid of the Seventies and I love indie, lo-fi, complaint rock played on vinyl, wearing black, the theater, well-informed optimism, happy endings (both kinds), and making those close to me laugh ’til they snort. I’m a self-admitted change junkie, loving new experiences and places, but have now happily settled in the cutest lil’ town, Vienna, Virginia.

Authors Lisa Mantchev and A.L. Purol Interview and Amazon Gift Card Contest

Authors Lisa Mantchev and Amanda Purol Interview

Lost Angeles by Lisa Mantchev and A.L. PurolBBB: Describe yourself with five adjectives. LM: Dramatic, fannish, nerdy, bossy, extroverted-introvert AP: Pragmatic, funny, dirty, OMG, WTF
BBB: What real-life science, pseudo-science, history, religion, or mythologies did you research for your book?
LM: You name it, we had to research it. The city of Los Angeles itself, real estate, commuting times, supercars… AP: Greek mythology, theology, explosives, guns, blood types. You name it, really. That’s not to say that everything in this book is 100% biblically/mythologically accurate, because I mostly just took all the bits I liked and stuck them together like a mutant gummi bear.
BBB: Would your main character win on the show Survivor by strength, cheating or not at all?
LM: I am laughing at the idea of Xaine on a celebrity season of Survivor. Given that he’s a vampire, he’s not only got superior strength on his side, but predator skills. Also, he would cheat. AP: Lore would probably die. That or… skate by because she wears a mean bandanna bikini and shy smiles at everyone.
BBB: Have you ever gone out in public with your shirt on backwards, or your slippers on, and when realizing it, just said screw it?
LM: Yup. Done the shirt inside-out thing AND driven all the way to the kids’ school before I realized I had slippers on. AP: Yes. My shirt was on inside-out for an entire day and nobody at my job said a thing… despite the big, white tag stamped at the back of the collar. Jerks.
BBB: Please tell us more about Lost Angeles and the storyline that drives it. (Don’t use the book synopsis, please write this in your own words.)
LM: It starts on a personal level, with Lourdes trying to unravel her mysterious past and Xaine’s current dilemma of blond girls that keep turning up dead on his property. Their stories intersect, and then a much larger story arc slowly comes into focus. AP: Much, much… so much larger. You start meeting everyone, start seeing all the characters little-by-little. We introduce them all to you, then throw them into the chaos of a world gone mad. This isn’t going to be the usual romance spin-off story, where we take a minor character and give them their own book, leaving your old favorites to molder. This is a character-driven story; you’ll see everyone again. Nobody’s moment is over when their book is done.
BBB: How many more books will there be in the Lost Angeles series?
LM: We’ve drafted the first three, and will probably keep going after that until Amanda flies out here to strangle me and bury me in a shallow grave. AP: She severely underestimates my hole-diggin’ skills.
BBB: What sets the Lost Angeles series apart from other books in the same genre?
LM: It’s a new take on the vampire origin story, pretty sure. And it has a charmingly high level of pop-culture and snark. AP: The humor. It definitely takes itself seriously, but not too seriously. There are parts where the book makes fun of itself, its genre, its characters. It’s a vampire book, and it knows it.
BBB: What types of characters / creatures can readers expect in your world?
LM: The roster to date includes humans, vampires, archangels, sin-eaters, and reapers. We hint at a few other things, but SPOILERS. AP: Then there’s PFC, where the dudes are dudely and the testosterone is monstrous. Also, kittens.
BBB: What does your protagonist think about you? Would he or she want to hang out with you, the author, their creators.
LM: *eyes Xaine* Well, I’m not certain how he feels about nerdy writer girls, but he seems to like nerdy musical girls well enough. AP: I suppose that Lore and I would just kinda sit awkwardly across from one another, shuffling our feet and looking around while we waited for anyone else to show up and save us. I think we’d both think the other was just fine, though, if a little awkward.
BBB: What are the 5 books your hero or heroine loves best!
LM: All Xaine’s favorite books are in Italian. I’m going to need a translator. AP: Anything with music notes in, on, or around it.
BBB: What’s the weirdest thing you’ve Googled?
LM: How much of a specific explosive I would need to blow up a hospital. I am pretty sure I am on every watch list ever. AP: I was looking up fetishes last week, because there was a discussion that came up about… certain fetishes… and their followings. I will not go into detail, but I’m pretty sure I am also on every watchlist ever.
BBB: What’s coming up for you for the rest of 2015?
LM: My picture book STRICTLY NO ELEPHANTS comes out in October, immediately followed by a young adult collaboration, SUGAR SKULL. Plus… AP: The second LOST ANGELES book is due out in November. It’s titled LOOSE CANON, and will be followed at the top of 2016 with LOVERS NAUGHT.
