Dear Treasured Readers,

I am so excited to be in this Time Travel Anthology!

releases tomorrow 5/22
available for preorder at Amazon in ebook and print

It was an honor to be invited to an anthology with so much indie author talent! And working with editor David Gatewood was a delight. The result is a fantastic collection of bite-sized tales just right for intriguing lunch-time reading.

First, a bit about my story, written especially for this anthology...

Corrections (Susan Kaye Quinn)
Time traveling through murderers' minds to prevent the crimes that landed them on Death Row? This is what psychologist Ian Webb lives for. But his training with the Department of Corrections, along with fifteen successfully resolved cases, is of little help when the original timeline proves to be nothing like the court records show. The past can only be changed so much, and pushing it too far won't just fail to prevent a murder - it might erase his patient from the timeline altogether.

If you liked my Debt Collector series, Corrections has the same dark-and-gritty future-noir feel, as well as the same episodic storytelling structure. So don't be surprised if there are more Corrections stories to come!

Every story in Synchronic has a unique take on time travel, often heart-wrenching, always thought-provoking. My favorites were Ann Christy's Rock or Shell, a Twilight-Zone-esque tale about too much time travel, as well as Jason Gurley's The Dark Age, which just made me sob. (Jason also made our gorgeous cover.) Every story in this collection is top shelf (read all the synopses here), but don't take my word for it...

Here's what the reviewers are saying...

"This collection... deserves a paperback on your bookshelf. The short story is not dead and this collection proves it."

"Synchronic helped me rediscover the joy of reading short stories."

"These are the sampler packs, the culinary tasters of the literary world... you're in for a wonderful surprise with Synchronic."

Synchronic launches tomorrow! (Order now or add to your Goodreads TBR).

So why am I telling you a day early? So you can time travel into the future and buy it? (NO! That's why we have preorders!)

I write everything from middle grade fantasy (Faery Swap) to young adult science fiction (Mindjack) to steampunk romance (Third Daughter). And, of course, my dark-and-gritty future-noir serial, Debt Collector. It's possible I have a short attention span. My business card says "Author and Rocket Scientist" but mostly I sit around in my PJs in awe that I get paid to make stuff up.
