Silence Only Means I'm Busy
Not that I've fallen off the face of the planet
Following the successful launch of Fall of Sky City and Knight of Wands,
I knew I had to work harder, be more daring, and continue the fight in
order to make 2014 even more successful. That's exactly what I've been
doing.
Along with my NA Steampunk trilogy, I'm launching my Dreamland series this year as well. Dreamland Stories
was accepted by Just Ink Press, and is a fairy tale romance series ripe
with nightmares, dustmen, and just about anything else I could throw at
it. I've created a brand new Dreamland, unlike anything you've seen
before.
However, the setting and the plot is so huge and so amazing, I couldn't
do the stories justice without a little help. So, I'm also launching Dream Killers,
which is a series of novellas launched in "seasons" that tell you
what's going on in the background. I gotta say. The main characters in
my romance novels might get a lot of the spotlight, but so much of the
action occurs behind the scenes. Juicy details, deeper clues, and much
more lurk within Dream Killers.

So many people are excited about this series, it just makes my heart happy! I'm currently working on Menagerie, the final book in this trilogy. The tentative release date is October 2014.

Dream Killers has officially launched! The first "episode," or the first novella, is available for free on Smashwords
indefinitely. The second episode launches next week, followed by the
last episode of the season in June. Season 2 will launch smoother.

For those of you who have been dying to get your hands on The Dustman, it's available for free on Smashwords.
I won't accept money for this one until I bring it up to the same
standard I've acquired since writing this one. It's still a great, sweet
story. So enjoy.

As some of you may have heard, Nightmare's Dream
was picked up by a publisher! We'll be getting a new cover soon, so be
on the look-out for that! We're currently editing it to the point of
sparkliness. As soon as I have more information, I'll be sure to share!

I could use your help! I need Amazon to lower their price of Graveyard of Dreams to FREE as shown on Smashwords.
If you could let Amazon know the book is available for free, that would
be super. Also, if you've read the novella, please leave a review. It
WOULD be easier to review the series all together, and that's perfectly
fine as well. Anything you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

One of the things I've been really enjoying since January are the free character shorts and flashes. Shorts = short stories. Flashes = flash fiction which is super short shorts
With Dreamland, I needed to do this because there are just so many
characters! They all see Dreamland a different way and all bring their
own elements to the storytelling.
I'm also compiling shorts and flashes for Devices of War since there are a lot of really fantastic characters there as well! You should be seeing more as I continue to gear up for Menagerie.

And talking about Menagerie, I have to say I'm super excited!
First of all, the writing is going really well. I can't wait to share a few more snippets. You'll find a few in the free shorts
mentioned up above. The thing I absolutely love about being Indie is
that I have the freedom to write how I like! Sharing free,
behind-the-scenes moments is just one thing I love doing.
Knight of Wands is available in paperback. I should have
released it long ago, but I just go so busy! However, it's available
now, and with a matte finish. Oh! You should see it. And it feels so
lovely!
I also set up a sound-booth in my house to record Fall of Sky City.
I intend on doing the entire series, but for now, I'm starting small.
There are a LOT of dialects in this book, so it's a bit intimidating,
even to the person who wrote it. So, be watching for outtakes (because,
good grief, there are going to be some!), and for more news on the audio
book when I get there.

Be sure to check out Susan Kay Quinn. She's the one who inspired the "seasons" idea for Dream Killers, which I'm having so much fun with! She's fantastic and has a wide variety of books to choose from! She's amazing!
