Just Add Water, book 1 in the Hetta Coffey series
by Jinx Schwartz
Award Winning Author
$2.99 on Kindle Now!
Hetta
Coffey is a sassy Texan with a snazzy yacht, and she’s not afraid to
use it! In book one, Hetta is looking to change her life, and buying a
yacht sounds reasonable.
To Hetta. Everyone else thinks she’s finally gone round the bend.
See what reviewers are saying:
“This
is the first book of the Hetta Coffey series and now I’m absolutely
convinced that the author can provide not only great stories of
intrigue, murder and cozy mystery but great fun and laughs. Hetta is an
absolute riot – fun, funny and surprising in many ways – she’s a
colorful character with a capital “C”. Even if you’ve never sailed or
spent any time on a power boat, now is the time – it makes one want to
sell out, abandon home and hearth and head for the salt water ASAP. You
absolutely MUST read all of Jinx Schwartz’s books – they are definitely
in the hard-to-put down category and every one is an enjoyable read!” by

Big Sick Heart by Mike Markel
FREE – Today on Kindle
1st in the Detectives Seagate and Miner Mystery Series
Police Detective Karen Seagate is having a rough time with her
family, the police department, and her drinking. A high-profile murder
that has the Chief breathing down her neck is not what she needs,
especially with a brand new partner just promoted from uniform rank.
Still, Seagate intends to track down the killer. The victim, Arlen
Hagerty, created plenty of enemies as he clawed his way to the top of
his Soul Savers organization. The organization’s founder, whom Hagerty
shoved out of the way, Hagerty’s wife, his mistress, his debate partner,
and the politician he was blackmailing–all had reason to wish him dead.
But who, and why would someone kill a dying man?
See what reviewers are saying:
“As someone who really enjoys crime fiction, I found Big Sick Heart
to be excellent. It was a fast read (probably because I couldn’t put it
down) with a very interesting story line. More than that, though, I
finished the book and immediately went to see if the author had written a
sequel. I feel like I “know” Karen Seagate (with all of her demons) and
Ryan Milner well enough now to want to see them together again. This
book will not disappoint you!

The Black Lion: Satan’s Kingdom by Anthony Karakai
$1.99-Today 7-5-2014
In a world of terrorism, corruption
and violent crime, there exists a covert agency comprised of the world’s
most elite intelligence officers—The Black Lions. Recruited in secrecy
to attend to matters of international security, they must stop at
nothing in order to complete their mission. Something sinister is
happening in Eastern Europe that has seen a new evil arise.
An organ harvesting operation in
Hungary is causing grave concern—people are being kidnapped at an
alarming rate. At the same time, a terrorist cell is planning to blow up
iconic European cities. A connection between the two seemingly
unrelated evils is beginning to surface, and in order to eliminate the
threat, The Black Lions must go undercover into a dark, deranged and
terrifying world.
See what reviewers are saying:
I’ve read a couple crime related books
over the past few weeks but this one was definitely the best by far.
The story line isn’t generic like a lot of crime books are, it’s
actually really original- involving an organ harvesting gang mixed up
with terrorist cell, I thought that was really cool and made the plot
really unique compared to most books in the same genre. I thought the
idea behind the protagonist, a tormented hero with a sadistic streak,
was also really unique and different and on top of that the quality of
the writing really complemented these unique themes very well and it
makes for a really good and interested read throughout.

“If you like
realistic mysteries with quirky, but believable characters, this series
is for you. R.P. Dalke is very good at keeping the action moving along
while helping you to really like the good guys and really dislike the
bad ones. She also knows how to throw in a curve ball or two to keep you
guessing. Loved It! Try ‘A Dead Red Cadillac. You won’t be
disappointed.” by Barbara A. Martin, Amazon

CORNERED COYOTE by Dianne Harman
99cents-Today, June 3, 2014
Dianne Harman’s third and final book in the Coyote series, Cornered Coyote, is a throbbing tale of love, courage and passion.
The frailties of human nature are
deftly brought into the spotlight, as insecurity, jealousy, hatred,
contempt and xenophobia rear their ugly head from time to time. Follow
the loveable yet eccentric private investigator, Slade Kelly, (a
readers’ favorite), as he tries to save Maria from seemingly
insurmountable odds. The story moves at a rapid pace, from the ghettos
of Chicago to the beaches of Florida, from the streets of Los Angeles to
the lush gardens of New York city. Each twist and turn comes with its
own cast of colorful characters, from sleazy men in the mafia to hot,
desperate women, who will do anything to make it big, in a world that is
always trying to keep them small. Riveting action and fascinating
characters comb ine to make this a thoroughly enjoyable read.
See what Reviewers are saying:
Since I very much enjoyed the first
two volumes of this trilogy I could hardly wait to continue the story
and spend time with characters that have become my friends. The reviews
already written give an accurate idea of the book. I zoomed through
reading this one because It was hard to put down. Just when you think
the story might become predictable, Ms. Harman throws us something
unexpected. I love how she does this. Her attention to detail makes
imagining and visualizing more enjoyable than watching a movie. I am a
Southern Californian and enjoy how she incorporates her knowledge of our
area as well as how well t raveled the author must be because of all
the other places she describes. My only question is where did the Burka
come from? I loved the ending – I won’t spoil it for you – read it for
yourself.” By Diana Hoover (Irvine, CA USA)
“Grisham and Connelly Watch Out,
`cause there’s a new kid on the block. Dianne Harman makes her mark in a
highly competitive suspense-thriller niche. Read the book in two short
sittings and couldn’t put it down. The final chapter ends happily with
some last minute manoeuvring to keep you turning pages right to the
close. Cornered Coyote has it all. A beautiful protagonist trapped in a
political power play, lost orphans rescued from uncertain death and
woman’s issues addressed with aplomb. Let’s not forget the steamy,
tastefully written erotica boiling behind the scenes and creating
sincere love interests. Ms. Harman’s newest book in the Coyote Series
reads smoothly and all of her character’s conflicts are carefully weaved
into the plot with skillful talent. For this reader, the dialogues
shined, balanced by descriptions that put an unforgettable picture in
your mind’s eye. Pick it up before a big six publisher takes it away and
makes it into a TV series.” By michael “Michael James Gallagher” (St
Bruno, Quebec Canada)
