This clan of shape-shifting mermaids in the bayou will do anything to protect their secrets. The series began with Siren’s Secret when a mermaid accidentally stumbled upon a serial killer during an evening swim.
My newest book takes up the story of her cousin Jet whose ex-pirate boyfriend returns to Bayou LaSiryna, intent on drawing her into a scheme for recovering the jettisoned H-Bomb near Tybee Island, Georgia. But the new man in town, undercover FBI agent Landry Fields, is keeping a close eye on Jet. Will he be able to get her out of this mess and into her heart? I loved writing about Jet because she’s a strong, feisty woman who takes any challenge head-on. Of the three Bosarge women in the series, I have to admit she’s my favorite! She epitomizes what I think of the mermaid archetype—a model for feminine strength, power and beauty.
